About Us
Sons of Cypress is a rock and cover band based in Northeast Ohio. The band features Jake on lead vocals, bringing the voice of an angel; Chris shredding on lead guitar; Andre mastering the keys and rhythm guitar; Wesley laying down buttery-smooth bass lines; and Brandon, the band’s percussion expert, driving the beat.
With a diverse setlist spanning classics, alt rock, pop rock, hard rock, country hits, and crowd-pleasing pop favorites, Sons of Cypress delivers high-energy performances that keep audiences entertained all night long.

Jake
Lead Vocals
Jake is the energy of the band, both on and off stage. With a naturally smooth, soft tone and effortless control, his voice carries a perfect vibrato that draws people in. When he belts, it’s impossible not to be captivated. There is no Sons of Cypress without him.
Chris
Lead Guitar
Chris’s solos are guaranteed to amaze, bringing impressive technical skill and a unique sound tailored to each song. His playing adds a distinct edge and energy that elevates every performance.
Andre
Keys & Rhythm Guitar
Andre keeps the band together. He helps shape the sound through careful attention to the mix, while seamlessly switching between rhythm guitar and keys depending on what each song needs. From driving acoustic moments to adding depth on keys, the setlist wouldn’t feel complete without him.
Wesley
Bass
Wesley brings a steady groove and versatile style to the band on bass guitar. A passionate music fan and self-taught guitarist, he recently joined the group to help anchor the band’s tempo and tighten the rhythm section.
Brandon
Drums
Brandon’s high-octane drumming keeps the energy elevated throughout every performance. With tasteful fills and explosive drum solos, he adds both power and flair behind the kit. His rhythm provides the foundation for the group, keeping everything tight, locked in, and driving forward.
